Cho đến nay, qua những tin tức trái ngược nhau, tiền hậu bất nhất của chính quân đội Mỹ, cũng như những cáo buộc và yêu cầu của quần chúng cũng như quốc hội A Phú Hãn, vụ án thảm sát 9 trẻ em, 4 phụ nữ, và 3 người già tại ba ngôi làng Ibrahim Khan-Nazeeban, và Alkozai, cách căn cứ quân sự NATO-Mỹ tại quận lỵ Panjwai 7 Km - thuộc tỉnh Kandahar, A Phú Hãn đã không chỉ rẽ qua một hướng mới, mà còn có khả năng bẻ hướng luôn mối quan hệ giữa Mỹ NATO và nhóm chính phủ bù nhìn tay sai Kazai, kể cả Taliban.
Quân đội Mỹ và NATO cho đến nay đã đưa ra những thông tin bất nhất, như:
1- Vị trí cách biệt từ căn cứ đến địa điểm xảy ra vụ tàn sát không phải là 500 mét hay 2 cây số, mà chính xác là khoảng 7 cây số (5 dặm Anh)
2- Tên sát nhân, không phải trốn ra giữa đêm giết người xong đi về, mà đi về ra vào hai lần trong đêm rạng sáng hôm đó.
Dù vậy, Mỹ và NATO khăng khăng rằng chỉ có một mình trung sĩ Robert Bales là thủ phạm. Mỹ và NATO dùng một "đoạn phim" quay từ máy quay tự động của an ninh vòng đai căn cứ cho thấy "một mình Robert Bales buông súng tự thú trước văn phòng trại", để khẳng định chỉ có một mình Bales.
Ngược lại, sau hai ngày phối hợp điều tra, ủy ban điều tra quốc hội A Phú Hãn đã kết luận từ những sự kiện đã được xác nhận như sau:
1- 16 người bị bắn giết giữa đêm khuya (3-4giờ sáng) gồm 3 căn nhà có khoảng cách xa nhau.
2- 3 căn nhà này tọa lạc trong 2 ngôi làng khác nằm gần nhau.
3- Các nạn nhân bị bắn giết, đặc biệt là trẻ em, trong lúc đang ngủ, với những phát đạn vào đầu.
4- Sau khi bắn giết, nạn nhân được lôi vào một căn nhà để hỏa thiêu bằng hóa chất quân sự đặc biệt.
5- Các lời khai của nhiều nạn nhân còn sống sót, cũng như từ những căn nhà kế cận cho biết họ nghe nhiều tiếng súng từ nhiều hướng nhà khác nhau cùng một lúc, cũng như tiếng trực thăng vần vũ cùng thời điểm. Và trước khi sự vụ tàn sát ngày chủ nhật xảy ra, đã có một vụ nổ và lính Mỹ tuyên bố sẽ có một cuộc trả thù!
Đại diện Ủy Viên điều tra quốc hội A Phú Hãn, Hamizai Lali, kết luận rằng ít nhất có 15 tên lính Mỹ và NATO thuộc hai (2) toán chia nhau, được trực thăng (hoặc quân xa) chở đến, tràn vào ít nhất là 2 trong 3 ngôi làng để thực hiện rất hệ thống một kế hoạch đã có định trước rất cẩn thận.
Vì cá nhân một trung sĩ Bales, không thể một mình thực hiện đi bộ 4 lần (7 cây số 1 lần) từ căn cứ đến làng, rồi bắn giết 16 nhân mạng từ nhà này qua nhà kia cách nhau 2 cây số, sau đó gom xác vào thiêu hủy, rồi trở về đầu thú v.v trong vòng thời gian ngắn như thế!
Ngoài ra phía Ủy Ban quốc hội điều tra còn đòi hỏi Mỹ và NATO chuyển giao phim ảnh diễn tiến cuộc tàn sát này. Vì theo thông lệ quân sự cũng như thói quen của lính NATO và Mỹ, là quay phim bất kỳ cuộc hành quân, bắn giết, tra tấn v.v dù là quân lệnh hay tự ý làm trò vui tiêu khiển của chúng, như cả thế giới đã biết trong hơn 10 năm nay.
* Theo những thông tin và các bản tường trình khác, thì có mấy phụ nữ bị hiếp dâm trước khi bị giết Dĩ nhiên, Mỹ NATO và chính phủ A Phú Hãn đều bác bỏ chi tiết hiếp dâm này..vì nó thuộc "danh dự tôn giáo, thể diện quốc gia" cho cả đôi bên. Nhưng với kinh nghiệm tội phạm khắp nơi của lính Mỹ, thì hiếp dâm luôn luôn là hành động đầu tiên của bọn quân đội. Chúng ta còn nhớ Mỹ Lai nơi lính Mỹ vác xác nạn nhân còn thoi thóp để hiếp dâm vội vàng vì sợ rằng nạn nhân sẽ tắt thở sớm hay chăng? Và lính Mỹ hiếp dâm tại Iraq xong giết tòan bộ gia đình nạn nhân để diệt khẩu? Hoặc hiếp dâm giết người xong, cho pháo kích oanh tạc nát địa điểm để phi tang v.v? Ôi "thể diện" tôn giáo, thể diện quốc gia là gì? Là man rợ, là dối trá trên đau khổ nhân phẩm của phụ nữ?
Theo lời khai của một nhân chứng khác, thấy tận mắt một tên lính Mỹ nắm tóc người phụ nữ lội ngược đến góc tường, rồi đập đầu người phụ nữ này vào tường cho đến chết.
Hiện nay dù với sự phản đối của A Phú Hãn, quân đội Mỹ đã bí mật đưa Robert Bales, về "tạm giam" tại căn cứ Fort Leavenworth, bang Kansas, nước Mỹ. Vợ và hai con của tên trung sĩ Bales này cũng đã được chở vào căn cứ quân sự Mỹ để được "bảo vệ".
Các báo đài chính qui Mỹ, Úc thay nhau lập lại các bản tường trình sau khi bị các cơ quan thông tin độc lập điều tra tung ra, dĩ nhiên cộng với những bản tin chính qui trái ngược, như Bales là người bạn lý tưởng, trách nhiệm, ngừoi chiến sĩ can trường hy sinh vì tổ quốc v.v. Trong khi đó, các hồ sơ án tịch tại những văn phòng tòa án địa phương nơi Bales và gia đình cư ngụ lại có một hình ảnh Robert Bales đen tối hơn!
Theo các báo cáo từ văn phòng tòa án địa phương, Robert Bales từng đánh đập bạn gái phải ra tòa và bị phạt vạ; từng lái xe đụng nạn nhân xong bỏ chạy- một tội bị phỉ nhổ và phạt nặng ở các xã hội văn minh- Nhưng Bales chỉ bị đóng tiền phạt để tránh bị án và đã khai là vì hắn ngủ gật trong lúc lái xe, không biết mình đụng ngừoi khác!!! Ngoài ra Bales còn bị phạt vì tội hung hăng hành hung ngừoi khác, phải ra tòa và đi gặp bác sĩ tâm lý để xác minh cá tính v.v
Ngoài vấn đề "cá tính hung tợn, thiếu nhân tính, vô trách nhiệm tinh thần công dân", Bales , 38 tuổi, đã 3 lần viễn chinh tại Iraq và lần đầu tiên viễn chinh đến A Phú Hãn, không phải vì "yêu tổ cò" như đăng tải, mà vì thất bại trong vụ đầu tư nghề nghiệp tại Floria do 3 anh em Bales làm "giám đốc", sau khi học 3 năm đại học ở Ohio về thương mại- nhưng chưa tốt nghiệp. Bales, có căn nhà đầu tư ở khu Seattle bị bỏ phế không được phép sử dụng (ở hoặc- cho thuê) vì không đủ tiền trả nợ ngay cả căn nhà đang ở. Vợ Bales phải đăng bán, nhưng chưa được. Vợ chồng Bales còn sở hũu một căn nhà khác, nhưng cũng bị bỏ hoang phế vô giá trị cách đây 2 năm rồi. Cơ quan địa ốc cũng chịu thua trong tình hình kinh tế suy sụp nhà cửa mất giá. Ngay trong quân ngũ, hai vợ chồng Bales và Kari, hy vọng sẽ được tăng lương và thăng chức lên trung sĩ nhất cũng không xảy ra theo ý mong đợi. (E7= Enlist 7= First Class Sergeant, lính Mỹ có 5 cấp Trung Sĩ từ E5 đến E9-Tùy vào binh chủng khác nhau, chức quyền trách nhiệm và lương bổng có hơi khác nhau)
Nói chung những thông tin cho thấy một Robert Bales, tính tình không lấy gì là tốt đẹp, làm ăn không thành công, và đăng lính (enlist) để kiếm tiền, cố gắng tạo chiến công cũng vì muốn thăng thưởng để có tiền trang trải- cho nên đã 3 lần viễn chinh Iraq, bị thương, nhưng vẫn "yêu tổ cò" "hiến thân cho lý tưởng quân đội" với hy vọng được thăng chức tăng lương trong lần viễn chính lần thứ 4 đến A Phú Hãn, dù anh ta có thành tích phạm pháp bất hảo, nhưng tổ quốc không chê, vì chính phủ cần sát thủ!!!
Theo như luật sư của Robert Bales, ông Browne sẽ gặp riêng Robert Bales ở trại giam trong căn cứ quân sự để thu thập giữ kiện, và chối bỏ nguồn tin cho là Bales say xỉn lúc giết người..
Cuộc điều tra vẫn giằng dưa không ngã ngũ. Phía quốc hội và quần chúng A Phú Hãn đang đẩy Kazai vào góc tường với đòi hỏi Mỹ phải dẫn độ Robert Bales ngược về A Phú Hãn để xét xử, và ngưng toàn bộ các cuộc hành quân ban đêm. Những đòi hỏi không có khả năng được đáp ứng. Nhưng vẫn còn hơn Ngụy ngục VNCH là dám đòi hỏi Mỹ công khai! Dù là đòi hỏi cho có lệ để chiều dư luận phẫn nộ của quần chúng! À! Thì ra quần chúng A Phú Hãn biết và dám phẫn nộ để áp lực Quốc Hội A Phú Hãn phải lên tiếng đòi hỏi và phản kháng, áp lực ngay với nhà nước chính phủ của họ!- Còn quần chúng Việt Nam, kể cả miển Nam lẫn Bắc - Ngụy VNCH và Phỉ, thì im lặng đồng lõa vời tội ác của Mỹ, Tầu trên đất nước của chính mình- Hiện nay nhà nước CHXHCNVN và đảng CSVN thì đồng lõa, quần chúng.thì ."phẫn nhịn", thiểu số còn lại, ai biết phẫn nộ thì bị chính phủ nhà nước Viêt Nam "phẫn áp" ngay! Kể ra A Phú Hãn, dân hay quan hoặc lính, cũng không tệ như An Nam "rồng teo" của ta!!!
Có điều khốn nạn là cho đến nay, với sự chấp thuận bồi thường của Mỹ, 2 ngàn Mỹ kim cho một xác chết, 1 ngàn Mỹ kim cho một "xác sống bị thương"- Nhưng cả hai bên NATO Mỹ và nhà nước chính phủ A Phú Hãn cũng vẫn chỉ giằng co theo áp suất chính trị. Cả hai đều không có nỗ lực, ý hướng điều tra theo đúng bài bản, theo đúng nguyên tắc và vấn đề yêu cầu của một vụ tàn sát có 16 mạng người như vậy.
Đó là:
1- Bảo vệ nguyên phạm trường, giữ tang chứng, vật chứng
2- Giao trách nhiệm điều tra cho một toán chuyên môn điều tra tội phạm chuyên nghiệp.
Để tìm ra:
a- Nạn nhân bị giết như thế nào?
b- Vũ khí phạm tội là những thứ gì, loại nào?
c- Bị thiêu hủy như thế nào?
d- Có liên can những hành động hiếp dâm gì không?
Như thế số thủ phạm cũng sẽ đươc xác định
Cho đến nay, những thứ căn bản cần xác định của một vụ án, như vụ Mỹ Lai, không ai nhắc đến hay nỗ lực điều tra. Cả đôi bên chỉ lo cứu vớt vị trí chính trị của mình. Sinh mạng và nỗi đau khổ của dân chúng vẫn chỉ là công cụ của bọn chính phủ mà thôi.
Riêng Robert Bales, khả năng ngậm miệng hy sinh lãnh trách nhiệm một mình, với hứa hẹn trao đổi của "tổ quốc quân đội" chi trả lo cho gia đình đang ngập cơn túng quẫn với khả năng 3 mẹ con phải bán căn nhà cuối cùng chưa trả hết tiền, và ra đường hoặc xuống hầm cầu ở, như hàng triệu ngừoi Mỹ mất nhà hiện nay, khi chồng ngồi tù.... đã hiện ra khá rõ.
Những điều chưa rõ là liệu SỰ HY SINH trao đổi thực dụng này có lâu bền hay không? Vì sự thật, sớm hay muộn cũng phải được phơi bày! Và ngay cả khi Bales được tha bổng với những lý do mà báo chí và luật sư Mỹ đang vận động dư luận quần chúng cho Robert Bales (yêu nước hy sinh vì tổ quốc, bị chấn thương khủng hoảng tâm lý (PTSD) lúc vi phạm sát nhân v.v), hoặc bị xử nhưng "diễn trò êm ái".. Thì không hiểu khi đó mối bang giao chủ tớ giữa Kazai và Mỹ sẽ ra sao? Khi Taliban lại được dịp nắm ở thế thượng phong nhờ vào sự hèn hạ, bất lực của nhóm tay sai Kazai và sự tàn bạo, bất nhân của NATO và Mỹ? Nỗ lực của Mỹ và Kazai triệt hạ đối lập qua vụ ám sát cụu dân biểu Malayla Joya, người đứng đầu nhóm đối lập tố cáo và lên án cả Mỹ lẫn Kazai- cùng ngày giờ với vụ thảm sát- cũng cho thấy Mỹ và Kazai đều lúng túng.
Mục tiêu phá nát Trung Đông và khối Hồi Giáo của Mỹ và Phương Tây đã đạt được gần trọn vẹn. Vấn đề còn lại là làm sao vừa giữ trọn được khu tài nguyên thiên nhiên này vừa giữ được mạt nạ "văn minh dân chủ thiên chúa" tại chính quốc mới là vấn đề của Mỹ và NATO...nghĩa là không thể rút hết quân, mà ở lại thì không thể hành xử "tử tế dân chủ" với người bản xứ được!
Dân Âu Châu (NATO) đang buộc quân đội họ rút quân. Chỉ còn đám Mỹ, Anh, Úc, Canada, giòng họ Sắc Sông (Anglo Saxon) là bám chặt nhau..Nhưng được bao lâu, khi mặt nạ đã rơi gần hết! Hay là cả khối quần chúng xã hội những nơi này đã trơ trẽn và trở thành đám khủng bố thiên chúa giáo hết cả, vì mong chờ "ngày phán xét" đến nhanh hơn chăng?

Afghanistan Panjwai Killing of 16: Two Stories Wildly at Variance

The official U.S. story alleges that a single gunman-soldier lost his mind temporarily, left the base, massacred 16 innocent people, burned some of them, and then returned to base and turned himself in.
A new report could not be more different: "A parliamentary probe team on Thursday said up to 20 American troops were involved in Sunday’s killing of 16 civilians in southern Kandahar province." Another report says that the soldiers sexually assaulted women.
In another report that was in The New Yorker, a survivor of the massacre refers to "Americans". Others spoke of "a man."
Michael Yon, a former Green Beret who was embedded as a journalist in Afghanistan for years, saw such a massacre coming. His recent predictions were based on poor morale: "Even our most disciplined troops — not the few problem troops — have lost all idealism. They have not lost heart for the fight. Mostly, they just don’t care. They fight because they are ordered to fight, but they have eyes wide open. The halfhearted surge and sudden drawdown leave little room for success.
"We face a discipline collapse. The bulk of our force is solid — then there’s a small fraction, probably a sliver of a percent, who might be crushed by the pressure."
He also points out that those killed are Pashtun. Unless these killings are cleared up, the Pashtun may declare Americans as occupiers and turn against them. A similar warning was made by a member of the parliamentary probe team, Hamizai Lali: "If the international community does not play its role in punishing the perpetrators, the Wolesi Jirga would declare foreign troops as occupying forces, like the Russians."
The alleged murderer is Army Staff Sgt. Robert Bales. His lawyer denies that he had been drinking: "Bales' lawyer, Seattle attorney John Henry Browne, disputed reports that a combination of alcohol, stress, and domestic issues caused the suspect to snap. He said the family said they were unaware of any drinking problem. He said that a day before the rampage, Bales — who was on his fourth tour after three tours in Iraq — saw a comrade's leg blown off."
The Panjwai massacre will have very serious repercussions on the presence of U.S. forces in Afghanistan. More Americans may turn against this war.
The situation will not be resolved by apologies. Blood money may not suffice. Yon writes "Afghans will seek revenge and they will have it. This will lead to yet greater possibilities of another mass murder from our side. We are considering holding the trial in Afghanistan. Pashtuns don’t care about our justice system. They don’t even care about the Afghan government; they want blood for blood. We are being drawn into a feud."
What actually happened? An investigation of the crime scene by experienced investigators was clearly called for the moment that the army learned of the killings. How were the victims killed? With what bullets? With what weapons? How were they burned? Was there sexual assault? We have no reports at this time of professional investigation of the crime scene.

(CBS/AP) LAKE TAPPS, Wash. - Bypassed for a promotion and struggling to pay for his house, Robert Bales was eyeing a way out of his job at a Washington state military base months before he allegedly gunned down 16 civilians in an Afghan war zone, records and interviews showed as a deeper picture emerged Saturday of the Army sergeant's financial troubles and brushes with the law.
While Bales, 38, sat in an isolated cell at Fort Leavenworth, Kan.'s military prison Saturday, classmates and neighbors from suburban Cincinnati, Ohio, remembered him as a "happy-go-lucky" high school football player who took care of a special needs child and watched out for troublemakers in the neighborhood.
CBS News correspondent White Johnson reports that, in Lake Tapps, Wash., where he and his family have a home, neighbors still can't believe the 11-year veteran is accused of mass murder.
"I'm shocked. I'm completely shocked," said Kassie Holland. "He was always happy. Happy guy, full of life. I really wouldn't expect it."
"A good guy, got put in the wrong place at the wrong time," said Paul Wohlberg.
But court records and interviews show that the Army veteran -- with a string of commendations for good conduct after four tours in Iraq and Afghanistan -- had joined the Army after a Florida investment job went sour, had a Seattle-area home condemned, struggled to make payments on another and failed to get a promotion or a transfer a year ago.

His legal troubles included charges that he assaulted a girlfriend and, in a hit-and run accident, ran bleeding in military clothes into the woods, court records show. He told police he fell asleep at the wheel and paid a fine to get the charges dismissed, the records show.
Military officials say that after drinking on a southern Afghanistan base, Bales crept away on March 11 to two slumbering villages overnight, shooting his victims and setting many of them on fire. Nine of the 16 killed were children and 11 belonged to one family.
"This is some crazy stuff if it's true," Steve Berling, a high school classmate, said of the revelations about the father of two known as "Bobby" in his hometown of Norwood, Ohio.
Bales hasn't been charged yet in the shootings, which have endangered complicated relations between the U.S. and Afghanistan and threatened to upend U.S. policy over the decade-old war.
His former platoon leader said Saturday Bales was a model soldier inspired by 9/11 to serve who saved lives in firefights on his second of three Iraq missions.
"He's one of the best guys I ever worked with," said Army Capt. Chris Alexander, who led Bales on a 15-month deployment in Iraq.
"He is not some psychopath. He's an outstanding soldier who has given a lot for this country."
But pressing family troubles were hinted at by his wife, Kari, on multiple blogs posted with names like The Bales Family Adventures and BabyBales. A year ago, she wrote that Bales was hoping for a promotion or a transfer after nine years stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord outside Tacoma, Wash.
"We are hoping to have as much control as possible" over the future, Kari Bales wrote last March 25. "Who knows where we will end up. I just hope that we are able to rent our house so that we can keep it. I think we are both still in shock."
After Bales lost out on a promotion to E7 -- a first-class sergeant -- the family hoped to go to either Germany, Italy or Hawaii for an "adventure," she said. They hoped to move by last summer; instead the Army redeployed his unit -- the 2nd Infantry Division of the 3rd Stryker Brigade, named after armored Stryker vehicles -- to Afghanistan.
It would be Bales' fourth tour in a war zone. He joined the military two months after 9/11 and spent more than three years in Iraq during three separate assignments since 2003. His attorney said he was injured twice in Iraq -- once losing part of his foot -- but his 20 or so commendations do not include the Purple Heart, given to soldiers wounded in combat.
Alexander said Bales wasn't injured while he oversaw him during their deployment -- Bales' second in Iraq. He called Bales a "very solid" officer who didn't have more difficulty than his fellow soldiers with battlefield stress. Bales shot at a man aiming a rocket-propelled grenade at his platoon's vehicle in Mosul, Iraq, sending the grenade flying over the vehicle.
"There's no doubt he saved lives that day," Alexander said. The charges he killed civilians is "100 percent out of character for him," he said.
Bales always loved the military and war history, even as a teenager, said Berling, who played football with him in the early 1990s on a team that included Marc Edwards, a future NFL player and Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots.
"I remember him and the teacher just going back and forth on something like talking about the details of the Battle of Bunker Hill," he said. "He knew history, all the wars."
Bales exulted in the role once he finally achieved it. Plunged into battle in Iraq, he told an interviewer for a Fort Lewis base newspaper in 2009 that he and his comrades proved "the real difference between being an American as opposed to being a bad guy."
Bales joined the Army, Berling said, after studying business at Ohio State University -- he attended three years but didn't graduate -- and handled investments before the market downturn pushed him out of the business. Florida records show that Bales was a director at an inactive company called Spartina Investments Inc. in Doral, Fla.; his brother, Mark Bales, and a Mark Edwards were also listed as directors.
"I guess he didn't like it when people lost money," Berling said.
He was struggling to keep payments on his own home in Lake Tapps, a rural reservoir community about 35 miles south of Seattle; his wife asked to put the house on the market three days before the shootings, real estate Philip Rodocker said.
"She told him she was behind in our payments," Rodocker told The New York Times. "She said he was on his fourth tour and it was getting kind of old and they needed to stabilize their finances."
The house was not officially put on the market until Monday; on Tuesday, Rodocker said, Bales' wife called and asked to take the house off the market, talking of a family emergency.
Bales and his wife bought the Lake Tapps home in 2005, according to records, for $280,000; it was listed this week at $229,000. Overflowing boxes were piled on the front porch, and a U.S. flag leaned against the siding.
The sale may have been a sign of financial troubles. Bales and his wife also own a home in Auburn, about 10 miles north, according to county records, but abandoned it about two years ago, homeowners' association president Bob Baggett said. Now signs posted on the front door and window by the city warn against occupying the house.
"It was ramshackled," Baggett said. "They were not dependable. When they left there were vehicles parts left on the front yard...we'd given up on the owners."
The diverging portrait of the sergeant rippled across the country on Saturday.
"It's our Bobby. He was the local hero," said Michael Blevins, who grew up down the street from him in Norwood, Ohio. The youngest of five boys respected older residents, admonished troublemakers and loved children, even helping another boy in the area who had special needs.
In Washington state, court records showed a 2002 arrest for assault on a girlfriend. Bales pleaded not guilty and was required to undergo 20 hours of anger management counseling, after which the case was dismissed.
A separate hit-and-run charge was dismissed in Sumner, Wash.'s municipal court three years ago, according to records. It isn't clear from court documents what Bales hit; witnesses saw a man in a military-style uniform, with a shaved head and bleeding, running away.
When deputies found him in the woods, Bales told them he fell asleep at the wheel. He paid about $1,000 in fines and restitution and the case was dismissed in October 2009.
Dan Conway, a military attorney who represented one of four Lewis-McChord soldiers convicted in the deliberate killings of three Afghan civilians in 2010, said whether legal scrapes affect a soldier's career depends in part on whether they prompt the Army to issue administrative penalties. The punishments are typically recorded in official personnel files.
Over the past decade, Conway said, the military has sometimes been lax in administering such punishments. As a result, soldiers who might be bad apples sometimes remain in service longer than they otherwise might have.
"It's something you want to note," Conway said. "The best predictor of future violence is past violence."
Bales' lawyer, John Henry Browne of Seattle, said he didn't know if his client had been suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder at the time of the shootings, but said it could be an issue at trial if experts believe it's relevant.
He also said Friday he didn't know if his client had been drinking the night of the massacre. Browne didn't return telephone calls on Saturday. His legal team has said Browne will be meeting with Bales at Fort Leavenworth next week.

American soldiers raped several Afghan women before going on a shooting rampage that killed at least 16 civilians in the southern province of Kandahar, Press TV has learned.
Shakila Hashemi, a member of an Afghan fact-finding committee, told Press TV in an exclusive interview on Saturday that up to 20 American soldiers were involved in the incident.
On the ill-fated Sunday [March 11], U.S. troops shot 16 civilians, including nine children and three women, and injured five others when they opened fire on houses in Zangabad village, in Panjwai district.
