Giáo sư Antony Cyril Sutton (14, Tháng 3-1925 – 17, Tháng Sáu- 2002) là tác giả của một loạt nghiên cứu kinh tế chính trị. Một chi tiết thú vị nhất mà giáo sư Antony Cyril Sutton trình bày trong cuộc hội thảo tại California khi ông đang là thành viên nghiên cứu của viện nghiên cứu Hoover - Đại học Standford 1972, chính là tài phiệt Mỹ đã tài trợ kỹ thuật lẫn tài chính cho Sô Viết và Việt Cộng trong cuộc chiến Viêt Nam. Sau loạt công bố này, ông bị cảnh cáo và khuyến cáo không được tiếp tục nghiên cứu lãnh vực này cũng như công bố những chi tiết liên quan. Antony Sutton — Tony — has passed on.
I received a call from his partner of many years this morning at 5:30am. Tony had gotten up early as was his custom, Marlene heard some noise, went and found Tony on the floor and called paramedics, who pronounced him dead. When Marlene called me, she was waiting for the coroner and wondering what to do. So, she called me.
Tony was an amazing fellow. A person who wouldn't "go along to get along." He was a great man whom the establishment feared because of his principled research, lack of guile and his tenacity to the truth.
I met Tony in the pages of his books. Once I discovered Tony's writings, I devoured every publication I could find. And finding his wasn't easy. Tony's books were never reviewed by the mainstream, they were conspicuously ignored. I mean, what could the powers-that-be do? Tony had their number and kept on following the trail. Tony was a private person, a recluse who didn't bask in the limelight that his underground bestseller drew.
Tony wasn't a "conspiracy" author, he was a technology researcher and journalist. Tony stumbled across some shenanigans whilst he was at the Hoover Institute studying the Soviet Union's technological capabilities and discovered that there were high "unofficial" technological exchanges and the Soviets had western technology that officially they didn't have and the fact that much of the Russian armaments used by the North Vietnamese against American boys, were built with help from the West. He kept following the trail. He wrote his explosive Wall Street series and then came the packet about Skull and Bones. He wrote a series of small books about Skull and Bones, he couldn't get them printed here, so they were printed in Australia. Finally, a Mom & Pop print shop in Montana, said "what do ya mean, nobody will publish it?" And so Liberty House Press was formed and they printed Tony's book for many years. It sold steady for many years without fanfare, but Tony had been hoping for more.
Here is an excerpt from Tony's new preface from his most recent edition of his magnum opus: “America's Secret Establishment has had little publicity, few reviews, ignored by mainline distributors, yet has sold steadily for the past 16 years at a rate of several hundred copies a month. This activity, in turn, has generated other articles and books by other authors. But my real intent, to generate an exploration of Hegelian influence in modern America, has not been fulfilled. In great part, this can be attributed to an educational system based on a statist-Hegelian philosophy, and which has already achieved the dumbing down of America. This disastrous, destructive philosophy, the source of both Naziism and Marxism, has infected and corrupted our constitutional republic. Much of the blame for this corruption is with an elitist group of Yalie Bonesmen. Their symbol of Skull and Bones and their Hegelian philosophy, say it all, although, with typical duplicity, they would have you believe otherwise. Hegelianism glorifies the State, the vehicle for the dissemination of statist and materialist ideas and policies in education, science, politics and economics.”
So, as a tribute to Tony, please let us begin to understand the reality of our situation and the Hegelian ploys used to keep our republic in chains of ignorance, greed and imbalance.

Much of Valerian's writings are very well-documented and can be followed-up, yet the only criticism of his work which we have deals with the fact that, we believe, he has placed too much confidence in so-called "channeled" revelations as sources of information. We believe, based on past experience and research, that much of the information received through so-called "trance channels" should be discarded for several reasons:

1) Such information is often self-contradictory.

2) Channeled revelations often contradict "revelations" received through other "channels".

3) There are supernatural beings inhabiting the aerial realm whose very purpose and "assignment" is to counterfeit "divine" revelation in order to spread propaganda, confusion or mislead the seeker from the truth. This is often, we have found, accomplished by offering the seeker a substantial amount of "truth" in order to uphold one strategic lie.

4) Channeled information in most cases cannot be followed up by physical documentation or evidence.

5) There are many indications that non-human beings, both supernatural and reptilian, are utilizing occult channels in order to carry out propaganda warfare against those who possess the truth. As we will see in later writings there is also much evidence that these alien beings have utilized witchcraft and occult movements (i.e. the serpent cults) since the earliest times in order to further their reptilian cause.

In relation to the Bush - Establishment - Serpent Cult - Reptilian connection, we will now quote from an article which was submitted by one of our researchers. This article, written by a Gerard Van der Leun, appeared in the Nov. 1990 issue of Penthouse Magazine:

Many of these Jesuit-Mason leaders are members of the ancient generational families who have controlled the drug trade, manipulated wars and revolutions in their favor, and have infiltrated the economic institutions of the world. The fact that he is now the president of these United States of America makes George Bush the most powerful and dangerous criminal in the history of the world."

Note: Where does all this ill-gained money go? According to many sources, much of this as well as the multi-billions in "Black Budget" monies provided by the taxpayers pours into the insiders' relentless and secret efforts to construct underground as well as off-planet (Moon, Mars, etc.) places of refuge where the secret government members and their families will escape to in the event of a global manmade or natural catastrophe. How thoughtful of us "mere mortals" to give our wealth and even our very lives just so that the "immortal elite" can survive to usher in a "New Age" on planet earth... This reminds us of something the 33rd degree Mason/O.T.O. Grandmaster Dennis Brunnell said: That the creator of the James Bond movie "Moonraker" had inside knowledge of the secret government's end-time plan, and thought that it would make a great movie. But as they say, Truth is even stranger than fiction.

The modern secret societies which are being manipulated by the infernal reptilian races are apparently extensions of more ancient societies who were also manipulated and influenced by these subterranean creatures. Several ancient races in fact believed in the existence of an "underworld" inhabited by serpent-like beings possessed with supernatural powers. Many of these mis-guided souls even worshipped these creatures, not so much out of adoration, but more out of fear or terror. Human sacrifices were even offered in an attempt to appease the destructive influence of these "demon gods", and temples and shrines were often built over or near caverns which were regarded by these superstitious people to be openings to this nether world.

One such shrine is located several miles southeast of Oaxaco, Mexico among some very ancient ruins. Among these ruins lies the ancient temple of "Mitla". Various accounts allege that in ancient times this temple descended deep underground into a basement, a sub-basement, and an ultra-sub-basement level. Within this third sub-level a large stone door was said to have concealed subterranean recesses beyond. According to the late subsurface researcher Charles A. Marcoux, as well as the anonymous U.S. Intelligence worker "Commander X", and others, the native Indians of the area centuries ago used to sacrifice humans to the underworld "gods" that were believed to exist within the dark caverns beyond the stone door. These victims were allegedly thrown into these dark chambers alive and were never seen again. Some centuries ago some priests arrived in this area of southeastern Mexico and commenced to explore the ruins, including the ancient Temple of Mitla. They managed to pry open the door in the third basement level and entered the underground chambers beyond. Torches in hand, they continued deep into what seemed to be an endless subterranean concourse leading in the direction of a distant mountain range. After penetrating a considerable distance they became fearful as they noticed serpents slithering among the rocks off in the darkness, they would see strange shapes and shadows among the ancient stone pillars which lined the concourse, eerie noises and winds began to blow through the large passage, and a they were overcome with a general feeling of fear and dread. Convinced that they were on the outskirts ofHades itself they made a hasty retreat, after which the Priests sealed the door and ordered the natives to fill-in all three basement levels with rock and earth, completely concealing all evidence of the subterranean connection.

Another such account involves the ancient Greek "Temple of Apollo", in Hierapolis (now Pamukkale), Turkey. This city was once part of the ancient Grecian empire, which covered an extensive area in and around the Mediterranean sea. One article which appeared in the January, 1989 issue of OMNI Magazine, referred to strange disappearances which had taken place in a cavern adjacent to this now broken-down temple. The article quoted from the writings of the ancient Greek philosopher "Strabe" (who lived between 63 B.C. and 24 A.D.), to the effect that animals would often enter the cave and never return. Also MANY PEOPLE throughout history who went past the mouth of the cave never returned. The article also quoted one Sheldon Aaronson, a professor of microbiology at Queens College, N.Y., who told OMNI that several Australian students had entered the cave and disappeared just a few days before his visit in 1987. Sheldon stated: "The Turkish government put iron bars over the opening to prevent other people from ever going in. As far as we knew, the Australians were never seen again." According to the article, the Greeks believed that the cavern was an opening into the "land of the dead ruled by the gods of the underworld."

As for the possibility of an underground subterranean "world", science tells us that the lowest depths of the earth (upper and lower mantles) contain temperature and pressure extremes so great that physical life could not possibly exist there. Some however believe that there is evidence for the existence of a vast global network of geothermal and hydrothermal cavities, somehow connected to the ancient deluge wherein the "...fountains of the great deep were broken up". This allegedly occurred as magma-heated stratas of subterranean water-filled caverns (brought to enormous pressures by an expanding and over-heated mantle) suddenly burst through the crust (Gen. 7:11) like a tremendously large exploding pressure boiler. Some claim that the underlying basaltic rock layers within these gigantic global aqua-systems were dissolved into these global subterranean reservoirs as their temperatures and pressures increased. Afterwards these vast amounts of water exploded to the surface, thus explaining why the oceans now contain large percentages of "salt". These underlying chambers, many of which collapsed yet many of which remained intact, are believed to exist throughout the moho and crustal regions of the planet, just above the upper mantle.

If evidence of ancient sunken continents ever becomes irrefutable, then such a theory would explain why whole island-continents may have collapsed. Such a cataclysm may have resulted from the possible fact that huge underground chambers, no longer supported by these subterranean waters, suddenly caved- in on themselves. Other higher-level cavities created through seismic activity may also exist, cavities which may dwarf the Flint Ridge-Mammoth Caves of Kentucky or New Mexico's Carlsbad-Lechuguilla cavern system. It is suggested that THESE may contain conditions sufficient to support physical life (i.e. air, water, subterranean flora and fauna, and perhaps even electromagnetically-induced illumination diffused throughout the underground "atmosphere" through a phenomena somewhat similar to the effect produced by the Aurora Borealis or "Northern Lights").

As we've said, there are literally hundreds of accounts which seem to support each other (we will attempt to describe as many of these as we can in future documents), suggesting that the above scenario or theory of a subterranean realm is a correct one. These accounts also suggest that antediluvian "Adamic" races, sometime before their destruction, possessed the ability to construct and excavate vast systems of underground tunnels connecting many of these natural cavities. Scientific discoveries including "ooparts" (out-of-place-artifacts) also prove that the pre or ante-diluvians were much more intelligent and scientifically-advanced than most think, although of course many accounts state that this intelligence became corrupted, leading in part to their own destruction. Theologically speaking, the Bible indicates that the Adamic races achieved complex forms of scientific invention only a relatively few generations after man was established on this planet. For instance, Genesis 4:22 indicates that by the time of Tubal-cain, 7th generation AFTER Adam, complex iron and metalwork, including no doubt increasingly complex forms of weaponry, were being produced. When we take into account the long life-span of these ancients, which was on the average of 500 years or more (Gen. chapt. 5) and the time-span between Adam and Noah, and compare this with the fact that modern man himself has gone from the horse-and-buggy to interplanetary travel in LESS THAN 100 years, then such a possibility seems even more apparent. Also, Adam was no doubt formed by the Creator as a perfect "prototype" human being. Of course he would have to be very intelligent in order to carry out the purposes which the Creator charged to him - i.e. to name and identify all of the animals and trees, subdue the planet and become it's guardian, care for his wife and so on.

As we've indicated, after mankind's fateful encounter with the serpent race and our progenitor's unfortunate response to the subversive strategies of the Reptilians, man lost much of the original supernatural dominion which he possessed over the earth and over the (by that time self-corrupted) serpent race. The war between the humans and the saurians had begun, and according to many sources (many of which, as we've said, we will describe later on) man was forced to defend himself from these reptilian predators. Some sources believe that this was one of the major reasons why the Adamic race initially began, when the technology was developed to do so, to build the ancient subterranean systems. In these they would apparently be safe from the saurian predators as well as from other human races with whom they might have been in conflict. The serpent race won this battle however in that they were able, through manipulation, to turn these antediluvian human races against themselves to the point of almost complete destruction. At this point we will quote from one of the many sources describing encounters with what may very well be a remnant of this antediluvian "tunnel" network. The following account was given in a letter which was submitted to AMAZING STORIES science fiction/science fact magazine, Dec. 1946 issue, p. 162. The letter was from a George A. Lehew of (at the time) 1918 W. Newport Ave., Chicago, ILL. Lehew wrote:

"Sirs... I have been a reader of AMAZING STORIES for a very long time... I too, know of one of these entrances into the world below. It is about fifty miles south of Pittsburgh, Pa., in the first range of the Allegheny Mountains. My experiment with the caves have been only partial explorations, consisting of traveling about a mile and a quarter down into the cave itself, and returning. The cave IS VENTILATED from below, and stays at a constant 50 degrees no matter what the outside temperature may be. It is a series of rooms or galleries with narrow passages from one to another. In about the sixth room down, there is a large tree trunk which could not have come from the surface as the stratosphere (sic) is almost completely free from local fault; and it could never have come DOWN through the openings in the cave itself as they were small at the top, and kept getting progressively larger as they got deeper.

"I traveled down as long as I could find comparatively easy travel--about 45 degree descent all the way--and finally came to what I thought must be the end of the cave, for I could see no more openings into rooms, but on closer examination found instead a bore, about six feet across, straight down into solid rock. I turned my flash downward and could see that it must have gone straight down for at least a hundred feet, the sides were perfectly smooth, and the shaft, or bore, in a perfect round--no apparent irregularities anywhere--I had no way of descending any further, so I retraced my steps back up through the different rooms to the top of the mountain where the cave opens into this world. I made discreet inquiries of several old timers in that region, and found that in 1915, or about that year, six surveyors took gear and equipment, and spent a month in exploration of the cave, going 18 miles from the entrance, and down almost five miles below sea level. I have never gone back, but I hope to some day in the future, with escort, equipment, and supplies. I'd certainly love to see the machine that made that bore! If you have any information on other caves in that area, let me know--they too may tie in with this one, though if they do, their connections are very deep. Also, if you can, please describe the equipment that made that vertical shaft. Oh, yes, one more interesting item--the surveyors in their exploration of the cave, distinctly heard the rumble of MACHINERY--but their calculations proved they were nowhere near a large city (surface), and they were too deep for surface noises otherwise. "What is the answer?"

In 1903, Yale Divinity School established a number of schools and hospitals throughout China that were collectively known as 'Yale in China.' It has since been shown that 'Yale in China' was an intelligence network whose purpose was to destroy the republican movement of Sun Yat-sen on behalf of the Anglo-American Establishment. The Anglo-American "Establishment" hated Sun, because he wanted to develop China. On the other hand, they loved the Chinese communists because they intended to keep China backward, and were committed to the production of drugs. . One of 'Yale in China's' most important students was Mao Zedong.

"During World War II, 'Yale in China' was a primary instrument used by the U.S. Establishment and its Office of Strategic Services (OSS) to install the Maoists into power.

'Yale in China' was run by OSS operative Reuben Holden, the husband of Bush's cousin, and also a member of Skull and Bones. "The Maoists made China into the world's largest opium producer.,

"'Yale in China' was also closely associated with the New York-based Union Theological Seminary, which has been a center for U.S. subversion of Asia According to Branton, they were literally wolves in sheeps clothing Every prominent radical leader operating in Korea today was trained at Union Theological. Union Theological was dominated for twenty years by Henry Sloane Coffin, a U.S. intelligence executive from the Sloane and Coffin families. He was a Skull and Bones member as were a dozen of his relatives.

According to geopolitical and economics researcher, Dr. Antony Sutton in his book 'The Patriot Review', not only did the Skulls and Bones help to build up the Communist movement in China, but they gave financial aide to the Soviet Union communists as well. This power cult has for centuries been playing a "two ends against the middle" type of game, attempting to control America (the thesis) and Russia (the anti-thesis) and other countries or movements, carefully pitting them against each other at the lower levels in order to keep the populations of the world in a state of confusion and despair, to the point that they will - hopefully - resign themselves into accepting the New World Order "synthesis" as the only alternative to solve the very "problems" which 'they' the New World Order initiators, created in the first place!

Yuelu Academy was founded in 976 AD (Song Dynasty), destroyed by war in 1127, and rebuilt in 1165 (Southern Song Dynasty). The celebrated philosopher Zhu Xi taught in at the Academy in 1165. It was destroyed by the Mongols but was restored in the late-fifteenth century (Ming Dynasty). In 1903, it became Hunan High School. The modern day Hunan University is a descendant of the academy. The architecture of some of the buildings was restored from 1981–1986, presumably according to the Song design.

The 1903 Treaty of Shanghai between China and Japan opened the city to foreign trade. Consequently, factories, churches, and schools were built. A college was started by Yale University bachelors and later became a medical center named Xiangya and a secondary school named the Yali School.

Mao Zedong, founder of the People's Republic of China began his political career in Changsha. He was a student at the Hunan Number One Teachers' Training School from 1913 to 1918. He later returned as a teacher and principal from 1920 to 1922. The school was destroyed during the civil war but has since been restored. The Former Office of the Hunan Communist Party Central Committee where Mao Zedong once lived is now a museum that includes Mao's living quarters, photographs, and other historical items from the 1920s.

The creation of Yale's campus in China was a long and difficult process, interrupted by upheavals and constantly threatened by Chinese distrust of foreign influence. Seabury and Thurston would eventually both have plaques in Woolsey Rotunda next to Pitkin's: Thurston contracted tuberculosis in 1903 while attempting to find land for the program, and Seabury drowned in a swimming accident in China four years later.

The Yali Academy -- later known as the Yali Middle School -- opened its doors to Chinese students in 1906 in the ancient walled city of Changsha. There, students were instructed in both Western and Chinese subject matter. Soon, recent Yale graduates began to be recruited as short-term instructors, known as the "Bachelors." By 1918, due to the generosity of Edward Harkness, construction was completed on a new, state-of-the-art medical college, hospital and middle school campus.

Era of 'enlightenment'

Relations between the local Chinese government and students and the Yale staff members were delicate from the start. Although Yale-in-China almost immediately reduced the religious nature of its work, the original missionary causes and attitudes remained a campus presence, and a source of tension, through the years.

"Right from the start, the Chinese felt real caution about linking education with Christian training," Spence said. "If you wanted to become a nurse or doctor, why did you need Christian training?"

During the rice riot of 1910, and again in 1927 when Chiang Kai-shek and the Nationalist Party took over the Chinese government, rising anti-foreign sentiment forced the Yale administrators to evacuate.

"We have been made aware of the almost bottomless gulf of pride, prejudice, and misunderstanding between the east and west," Gage wrote in a letter home.

Even during times without overt political strife, the students and Changsha residents resisted American control. Yale-in-China, which was "manned and controlled by Yale men," was not intended to be a reciprocal program: Americans were in Changsha to educate and "enlighten" the Chinese.

Even in the 1950s, 20 years after the program had transitioned to minimal American oversight, many at Yale still viewed the Chinese as the primary beneficiaries of the arrangement.

"[Yale-in-China's] enlightening effect on a new generation of Chinese may be of as great significance as its contributions to a past generation," the Yale Daily News reported in 1951, during Yale-in-China's 50th anniversary.

Many at Yale remained hopeful even after the outbreak of the Korean War in 1950, when the United States became the enemy of China. The News reported on Feb. 12, 1951 that Anson Stokes, one of the original members of the program, expressed his hope that Yale-in-China would "save for China the strong institutions based on Christian faith and idealism of Yale."

Leaving the mainland

But after surviving the horrors and privations of World War II, as well as Mao Zedong's Cultural Revolution and the establishment of the People's Republic of China in 1949, most of Yale-in-China's staff were evacuated from the country by 1951.

With the expulsion of the last staff member, Yale's involvement in mainland China ended for nearly 30 years. Only in 1980, after China had opened its doors to the West once more, did Yale return to Changsha.

AMERICA'S SECRET ESTABLISHMENT -- AN INTRODUCTION TO THE ORDER OF SKULL AND BONES

Memorandum Number Five: The New Dialectic -- Angola And China

THE NECESSITY FOR A NEW DIALECTIC PROCESS

World War II was the culmination of the dialectic process created in the 1920s and 1930s. The clash between "left" and "right," i.e., the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany, led to creation of a synthesis -- notably the United Nations, and a start towards regional groupings in -- i.e. Common Market, COMECON, NATO, UNESCO, Warsaw Pact, SEATO, CENTO, and then the Trilateral Commission. A start towards New World Order.

World War II left The Order with the necessity to create a new dialectical situation to promote more conflict to achieve a higher level synthesis.

The source of the current process may be found in National Security Memorandum No. 68 of 1950, with its extraordinary omissions (analyzed in The Phoenix Letter, January 1984). NSC 68 opened up the road for Western technology to build a more advanced Soviet Union -- which it did in the 1960s and 1970s with computerized space-age technology. At the same time NSC 68 presented the argument for massive expansion of U.S. defenses -- on the grounds of a future Soviet threat. The omission in NSC 68 was quite elementary, i.e., that the Soviets could not progress without Western technology. NSC 68 allowed that technology transfer to go on. In other words, by allowing Western firms to expand the Soviet Union, NSC-68 also pari passu created the argument for a U.S. defense budget. We identified in our Phoenix Letter article the link between NSC-68 and The Order.

Unfortunately for The Order, but not surprisingly, given their limited perception of the world, the dialectic plan based on NSC-68 misfired. The principal devices used to control the dialectic process in the past two decades have been (a) information, (b) debt and (c) technology. These have become diluted over time. They just don't work as well today as they did in the 1950s.

By and large, control of information has been successful. The intellectual world is still locked into a phony verbal battle between "left" and "right," whereas the real struggle is the battle between individual freedom and the encroaching power of the absolute State. The Soviet Union, with its tight censorship, presents a strictly Marxist (i.e., "left") orientation to its citizens. The enemy is always the "fascist" United States. The West is a little more complicated but not much more so. Quigley's argument in Tragedy And Hope, that J.P. Morgan used financial power to control politics, has been extended to The Order's control of information. In the West the choice is basically between a controlled "left-oriented" information and a controlled "right-oriented" information. [1] The conflict between the two controlled groups keeps an apparent informational conflict alive. Unwelcome facts that fall into neither camp are conveniently forgotten. Books that fall into neither camp can be effectively neutralized because they will incur the wrath of both "right" and "left".

In brief, any publication which points up the fallacy of the Left-Right dichotomy is ignored ... and citizens keep trooping down to the polling booths in the belief they have a "choice".

The second control mechanism is debt. If Marxist countries have to import technology, they need to earn or borrow Western currencies to pay for it. Loans have to be repaid. So to some extent, debtors are under control of creditors, unless they default. Default is the weakness.

The third control mechanism is technology. If technology to advance to more efficient production levels has to be imported, then the recipient is always kept away from the "state of the art". The weakness for The Order is that military technology does not require a market system.

The dialectic plan therefore misfired for several reasons. Firstly, the informational blackout has not been as successful as The Order expected. We shall describe later how control of Time and Newsweek gave The Order dominance over weekly news summaries. The TV networks have been able to orchestrate viewer reactions to some extent. For example, the three ABC blockbusters in 1983 were The Day After, Thornbirds, and Winds Of War, all with a common propaganda theme. But The Order was unable to restrict individuals and relatively small non-academic groups, almost always outside Universities, from exploring obvious inconsistencies in establishment propaganda. These groups often mistakenly termed "left" or "right" are outside the generally manipulated left-right spectrum.

Secondly, the debt weapon was over-used. Communist countries are now saturated with debt to Western bankers.

Thirdly, while technology is still a useful weapon, there are distinct stirrings among independent analysts of the danger posed for the Western world by building enemies.

Consequently, in today's world we can identify two facts in construction of a new dialectic. First, cautious reinforcement of the Marxian arm (the thesis presented in Memorandum Three), i.e., Marxist Angola gets a green light, but a Marxist Grenada got a red light.

Second, the construction of a completely new arm, that of Communist China, itself Marxist, but with conflict potential for the Soviet Union. Major efforts by The Order are in progress, only partly revealed in the press, to create a new superpower in a conflict mode with the Soviet Union. This is the new antithesis, replacing Nazi Germany.

THE ORDER CREATES A MARXIST ANGOLA

Angola, a former Portuguese province on the southwest coast of Africa, is a contemporary example of continued, but more cautious, creation of the Marxist arm of the dialectic process.

The official establishment view of Angola is that Angola was a Portuguese colony and oppressive Portuguese rule led to an independence movement in which the Marxists won out over "democratic" forces.

This view cannot be supported. If the Portuguese were colonists in Angola, then so are the Boston Brahmins in Massachusetts. Luanda, the chief town in Angola, was settled by the Portuguese in 1575 -- that's half a century before the Pilgrims landed in Massachusetts. The indigenous population of Angola in 1575 was less than the Indian population of Massachusetts. Over three centuries the Portuguese treated Angola more as a province than as a colony, in contrast to British, French and Belgian colonial rule in Africa. So if Angola belonged to non-existent indigenous natives, then so does Massachusetts logically belong to American Indians.

In the early 1960s the United States was actively aiding the Marxist cause in Angola. This is clear from former Secretary of State Dean Acheson. The following extracts are from a memorandum recording a conversation between Dean Acheson (Scroll & Key), McGeorge Bundy The Order '40), and President Kennedy dated April 2, 1962:

"He [Kennedy] then turned to the negotiations with Portugal over the Azores base. He said that not much seemed to be happening and that he would be grateful to have me take the matter over and see if something could be done. I asked him for permission to talk about the situation for a few minutes and said about the following: "The Portuguese were deeply offended at what they believed was the desertion of them by the United States, if not the actual alignment of the United States with their enemies. The problem, it seemed to me, lay not so much in negotiations with the Portuguese as in the determination of United States policy. The battle would be in Washington, rather than in Lisbon."

Then Dean Acheson comments on a topic apparently already known to President Kennedy, that the United States was supporting the revolutionary movements in Angola:

"The President then asked me why I was so sure that there was no room for negotiations under the present conditions. I said that, as he perhaps knew, we had in fact been subsidizing Portugal's enemies; and that they strongly suspected this, although they could not prove it. He said that the purpose of this was to try to keep the Angolan nationalist movement out of the hands of the communist Ghanians, etc., and keep it in the most moderate hands possible. I said that I quite understood this, but that it did not make what the Portuguese suspected any more palatable to them. We were also engaged in smuggling Angolese out of Angola and educating them in Lincoln College outside of Philadelphia in the most extreme nationalist views. Furthermore the head of this college had secretly and illegally entered Angola and on his return had engaged in violent anti-Portuguese propaganda. We voted in the United Nations for resolutions "condemning" Portugal for maintaining order in territory unquestionably under Portuguese sovereignty. I pointed out that the Portuguese were a proud people, especially sensitive because they had declined to such an impotent position after such a glorious history. They would rather proceed to the ruin of their empire in a dignified way, as they had in Goa, than be bought or wheedled into cooperating in their own destruction."

There is an extremely important, although seemingly minor, point in President Kennedy's comments. Kennedy apparently believed the U.S. was financing Nationalists, not Marxists, whereas the U.S. was actually aiding Marxists, as it was later to do in South Africa, following a pattern going back to the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution in Russia. There is a point well worth following up in the Kennedy files, i.e., just how much Kennedy knew about CIA and State Department operations, where The Order was in control.

The Marxists under Neto's MPLA obtained control of Angola. The Order with powerful allies among multinational corporations has exerted pressure on successive Administrations to keep Angola as a Cuban-Soviet base in Southern Africa.

Back in 1975 the U.S. in conjunction with South Africa did indeed make a military drive into Angola. At a crucial point, when South African forces could have reached Launda, the United States called off assistance. South Africa had no choice but to retreat. South Africa learned the hard way that the U.S. is only nominally anti-Marxist. In practice the U.S. did to South Africa what it had done many times before -- the elite betrayed its anti-Marxist allies.

By the early 1980s The Order's multinational friends came out of the woodwork while carefully coordinating public actions with Vice President Bush (The Order 1948). For example, in March 27, 1981, The Wall Street Journal ran a revealing article, including some nuggets of reality mingled with the Establishment line. This front page article viewed U.S. multinational support for the Angolan Marxists under the headline "Friendly Foe: companies urge U.S. to stay out of Angola, decline aid to rebels" (these rebels being anti-Marxist Savimbi's UNITA forces aided by South Africa).

The leader of the pro-Marxist corporate forces in the U.S. is Melvin J. Hill, President of Gulf Oil Exploration & Production Company, a unit of Gulf Oil which operates Gulf Cabinda. This is a refinery complex in Angola, protected from Savimbi's pro-Western rebels by Cubans and Angolan Marxist troops. Hill told the WSJ "Angola is a knowledgeable, understanding and reliable business partner." Hill not only appeared before Congress with this pro-Marxist line, but met at least several times with then Vice President Bush.

PWJ Wood of Cities Service added more to the Gulf Oil mythology. Said Wood:

"The Angolans are more and more development oriented. They aren't interested in politicizing central Africa on behalf of Cubans or the Soviet Union. Our people aren't persona non grata in Angola."

Hill and Wood, of course, are no more than public relations agents for Marxist Angola, although we understand they have not registered as foreign agents with the U.S. Department of Justice. Angola is very much a Cuban-Soviet base for the take-over of Southern Africa, yet 17 western oil companies and other firms are in Angola. They include Gulf, Texaco, Petrofina, Mobil, Cities Service, Marathon Oil and Union Texas Petroleum. Other firms include Allied Chemical, Boeing Aircraft, General Electric and Bechtel Corporation. It should be remembered that both Secretary of State Schultz and Secretary of Defense Weinberger are on loan from Bechtel Corporation.

Gulf Oil Corporation is controlled by the Mellon interests. The largest single shareholder of the outstanding shares. The Mellon Bank is represented on the Board of Gulf Oil by James Higgins, a Yale graduate but not, so far as we can determine, a member of The Order.

The next largest shareholder is the Mellon Family comprising the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Richard King Foundation, and the Sarah Scaife Foundation. This group, which thinks of itself as "conservative," holds about 7 percent of the outstanding shares. Morgan Guaranty Trust (a name we have encountered before) holds 1.8 million shares or about 1 percent of the outstanding shares.

To a great extent these corporations with Angolan interests have themselves out on a limb. It is surprising, for example, that South Africa has not moved to take counter action against Angolan based firms, especially General Electric, Boeing, Morgan Guaranty Trust, Gulf Oil and Cities Service. After all, the South Africans are directly losing men from the massive support given to the Angolan Marxists by these firms. It would be cheaper in South African lives to direct retaliatory action against the corporations rather than against Cubans and Angolans.

After U.S. betrayal of South Africa in 1975, when South African forces could have reached Luanda, it is a tribute to South Africa's caution that it has not used this rather obvious counter weapon. After all, a South African surgical strike on Cabinda would neatly remove the Angolans' largest single source of foreign exchange, and give multinational Marxists a little food for thought. We are not, of course, recommending any such action, but it does remain an option open to South Africa. And the possible U.S. reaction? Well the State Department and CIA had best be ready with an explanation for the U.S. Embassy plane caught photographing South African military installations!

We cite the above only to demonstrate the dangerous nature of The Order's conflict management scenarios.

III. THE ORDER BUILDS A NEW DIALECTIC ARM IN CHINA

Just as we found the Bush family involved with the early development of the Soviet Union, then with financing the Nazis, and vaguely behind the scenes in Angola, so we find a Bush active in construction of the new dialectic arm: Communist China.

In 1971 Mr. Nixon appointed George "Poppy" Bush (The Order 1948) as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, irrespective of the fact that Bush had no previous experience in diplomacy. As chief U.S. delegate, Bush had responsibility for defense against the Communist Chinese attack on the Republic of China, an original free enterprise member of the United Nations. With the vast power of the United States at his disposal, Bush failed miserably: the Republic was expelled from United Nations and Communist China took its seat. Shortly after that fiasco, Bush left United Nations to take over as Chairman of the Republican National Committee.

This is not the place to tell the whole story of American involvement in China. It began with Wall Street intervention into the Sun Yat Sen revolution of 1911 -- a story not yet publicly recorded.

During World War II the United States helped the Chinese Communists into power. As one Chinese authority, Chin-tung Liang, has written about General Joseph W. Stilwell, the key U.S. representative in China from 1942 to 1944: "From the viewpoint of the struggle against Communism . . . [Stilwell] did a great disservice to China." [2]

Yet Stilwell only reflected orders from Washington, from General George C. Marshall. And as Admiral Cooke stated to Congress, "... in 1946 General Marshall used the tactics of stoppage of ammunition to invisibly disarm the Chinese forces. [3]

But when we get to General Marshall we need to remember that in the U.S. the civilian branch has final authority in matters military and that gets us to then Secretary of War Henry L. Stimson, Marshall's superior and a member of The Order (1888). By an amazing coincidence, Stimson was also Secretary of War in 1911 -- at the time of the Sun Yat Sen revolution.

The story of the betrayal of China and the role of The Order will have to await yet another volume. At this time we want only to record the decision to build Communist China as a new arm of the dialectic -- a decision made under President Richard Nixon and placed into operation by Henry Kissinger (Chase Manhattan Bank) and George "Poppy" Bush (The Order).

As we go to press (early 1984) Bechtel Corporation has established a new company, Bechtel China, Inc., to handle development, engineering and construction contracts for the Chinese government. The new President of Bechtel China, Inc. is Sydney B. Ford, formerly marketing manager of Bechtel Civil & Minerals, Inc. Currently Bechtel is working on studies for the China National Coal Development Corporation and the China National Offshore Oil Corporation -- both, of course, Chinese Communist organizations.

It appears that Bechtel is now to play a similar role to that of Detroit based Albert Kahn, Inc., the firm that in 1928 undertook initial studies and planning for the First Five Year Plan in the Soviet Union.

By about the year 2000 Communist China will be a "superpower" built by American technology and skill. It is presumably the intention of The Order to place this power in a conflict mode with the Soviet Union.

There is no doubt Bechtel will do its job. Former CIA Director Richard Helms works for Bechtel, so did Secretary of State George Shultz and Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger. That's a powerful, influential combination, if any Washington planner concerned with national Security gets out of line sufficiently to protest.

Yet, The Order has probably again miscalculated. What will be Moscow's reaction to this dialectic challenge? Even without traditional Russian paranoia they can be excused for feeling more than a little uneasy. And who is to say that the Chinese Communists will not make their peace with Moscow after 2000 and join forces to eliminate the super-super-power -- the United States?
